Benefits of being an FCCLA adviser

Although, advising for FCCLA may be different from school to school there are some benefits that will come because of the effort and love you put into it.

Some of my most cherished memories of being an FCCLA adviser are:

1. Being involved in community service projects.

2. Reaching out and involving students who need a place to fit in.

3. Spending hour after hour working on perfecting a project in order to see my students place first at state and at nationals!

4. Running a state officer to be on the executive team helped me be involved and I was in the know because of her.

5.  Making friendships with other FCCLA advisers.

6. Traveling the USA with students and teaching them tips and tricks about the real world.

You will only get out the amount of success that matches the effort you put in.
